funny thing is, i didn't really care for this song when it was first released, but then i got the album a couple years ago and i love it and her music. I found this video sometime last year and it makes me love the song even more! Also, i have total respect for her too, she can rock it!

Swiss Design

So, i have been lovin me some swiss design. Clean, simple, to the point. It's very type based, and since i love working with type...i definitely love the style! I'm doing a paper on it now along with a poster for the student Addy's in this style. This magazine is full of awesome info.

Lists and Such

So, about a year ago, i started finding and also collecting lists from people. Such as...

To Do Lists
Grocery Lists
Notes
Directions
Random Receipts

and so on.

My intention is to make some sort of collective book out of it. I am still collecting and would love more, so if you have any, give them to me!! I love the ones that are on backs of envelopes, napkins, scraps of paper and just not your ordinary paper. However, i accept them all!

Here is one that i really like that has some things on it that we think about daily.

Stay Creative

So, I am on this kick of trying new things in life. I've realized that things aren't just going to come to me without trying. I have to go out there and find it! I have to be proactive, productive and never give up. I wanna do simple things like, sketch more often, take more photos, learn more about design. Also, more long term projects such as to try different styles of design and perfect the ones i already know. I just want and need to be better. Stop being lazy and go after my dreams!
For me, this blog of creativity is one of the steps. To find, create and share things that I have learned. I feel this would be a good place to accomplish that. So, hear it goes
